Outdoor advertisers contributed 1.32 billion Russian rubles to Moscow's budget in 2020. The revenues from out-of-home (OOH) advertising in the city were significantly higher in 2013, when the city government signed 10-year-agreements with several providers after holding an auction. However, since then, many of those companies have gone bankrupt, which led to a decline in the figures.
