As the end of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic inches closer, many consumers in the United States are planning to indulge themselves when shopping in 2021. Overall, nearly seven in ten people from more wealthy households intended to spend extra on leisure products and services in order to treat themselves as of February 2021. Less than 40 percent of individuals from low income households planned to do the same.
