Brazil: out-of-home food consumption drop by channel 2020

Food consumption in hotels, restaurants and cafeterias in Brazil dropped by 22 percent in 2020, when compared to 2019. Smaller food establishments such as kiosks, gas stations, street stalls, and vending machines registered a consumption decline of 17 percent. Traditional restaurants, in turn, saw a 12 percent decrease in out-of-home food spending. The
