The industry registered steady growth after the setback caused by the COVID-19 pandemic in April of that year, when Brazilian restaurants' revenue only reached 2.4 billion reals. In comparison to the period between September and December 2019, the monthly revenue of restaurants in the South American country had still a long way to recovery.
