Leading energy projects in Morocco 2021

As of 2021, the Foum Al Ouad Solar Power Plant project of the Moroccan Agency for Sustainable Energy (MASEN) was the leading project in terms of its investment value which reached 2.1 billion U.S. dollars. Moreover, Brookstone Partners' 900 Megawatts Harmattan Wind Farm project in Dhakla registered an investment amount of 1.6 billion U.S. dollars. Overall, in the Middle East and North Africa region, over 454 billion U.S. dollars were dedicated to planned and committed projects in the energy sector as of 2021.
