In Portugal and Poland, a similarly low number with low formal education use the internet for this purpose. A higher share of users with medium or higher education tended to use the internet find information about goods and services. According to the survey 92 percent of people with a medium level of formal education and 95 percent of users with a high degree of formal education informed themselves about goods and services online in Denmark. The gap between people with lower and higher formal education is significant in most countries, the difference between people with medium and high education is less drastic but varies a lot between different countries.
