As of the second quarter of 2023, the services sector in Ghana contributed nearly 19 billion Ghanaian cedis (GHS), around 1.3 billion U.S. dollars, to the country's GDP. Compared to the preceding quarter, this was a drop. Within the reviewed period, the contribution of services to GDP fluctuated, peaking in the first quarter of 2024. Overall, the services sector occupies the largest share of GDP across the country's economic sectors.
