Reported deaths from malaria in Angola 2010-2022
In 2022, 12,474 deaths from malaria were reported in Angola. Compared to the previous year, the number of casualties decreased from 13,676. According to the source estimates in 2021, fatalities due to malaria in the country represented 2.8 percent of the global deaths from the disease. Malaria is one of the main health issues in Angola. Over seven million cases of the disease were confirmed in the country as of 2022.
