According to a 2020 survey about online activities among Australian adults, 46 percent of respondents started telehealth consultations following COVID-19 restrictions in March 2020. This was followed by starting video conferencing or calling, at 23 percent of respondents. According to the source, increases in online activities in 2020 were most likely driven by COVID-19 social and physical distancing restrictions.
