In financial year 2022, India's most valued start-up BYJU'S - The Learning App reported a revenue of around 50 billion Indian rupees. This was a significant increase from the previous year when the revenue was nearly 23 billion rupees. Bengaluru-based BYJU'S was founded by Byju Raveendran and Divya Gokulnath in 2008. In mid-2021, the company was worth 16.5 billion U.S. dollars, with over 1.5 billion dollars in funding from the first half of that year.
