Biggest ETFs for precious metals based on five year return rate in the U.S. 2023

As of September 1, 2023, the fastest-growing exchange traded fund (ETF) for precious metals over the preceding five years was the abrdn Physical Silver Shares ETF. This particular ETF grew by approximately 10.4 percent over this period. This is a far greater growth than any other ETF over this period, with the second fastest-growing precious metals ETF growing by around 10.19 percent. Precious metals ETFs are exchanged traded funds that generally purchase and hold bullion of one or more precious metals, although they may also invest in other financial assets such as futures or the shares in companies that mine precious metals.
