In the fiscal year 2020, the demand for LPG in Japan amounted to around 12.7 million metric tons, the lowest amount of the past decade. Figures decreased significantly compared to about 16.5 million metric tons in fiscal 2012.
LPG is a by-product that emerges when natural gas or crude oil is processed.
