According to the European questionnaire on Information and Communication Technologies, 80 percent of internet users in the European Union (EU-27) used the internet at least once a day in 2021. However, the share of people using the internet daily in European countries differs. Iceland, the United Kingdom, and Luxembourg had the highest share of daily internet users among the selected European countries. Greece, Bulgaria, and Romania on contrast ranked at the bottom, with less than or equal to 70 percent of daily internet users.

Data presented in this domain are collected on a yearly basis by the National Statistical Institutes and are based on Eurostat's annual model questionnaire. This questionnaire is updated each year to reflect the evolving situation of information and communication technologies.
The aim of the European ICT surveys is the timely provision of statistics on individuals and households on the use of Information and Communication Technologies at European level. Data coverage corresponds to Dataset [ISOC_BDE15CUA] code [I_IDAY] of the (Information and Communication Technologies) survey.
