In 2021, 29 percent of respondents state they would engage one vendor for both SD-WAN and cloud security when deciding on cloud-delivered security for a secure access service edge (SASE) architecture. A SASE architecture is a network architecture that combines SD-WAN capabilities and virtual private network (VPN) with cloud-native security functions. This includes, among others, firewalls and secure web gateways.
