According to a May 2021 survey in the Philippines, the perception of Filipinos in receiving coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines were split. During the survey, 32 percent of respondents said they were willing to be vaccinated against the virus with 33 percent stating they were unwilling to do so. On the other hand, 35 percent of Filipinos were uncertain about it.

The question was phrased by the source as (translated from Tagalog): "f you have a chance to be given a free vaccine that can prevent COVID-19 which has been approved by the Food and Drug Administration or FDA, would you… (SHOWCARD: Surely get vaccinated; Probably get vaccinated; Be unsure about getting vaccinated; Probably not get vaccinated; Surely not get vaccinated)?"
The survey was conducted nationwide with 300 respondents each in Balance Luzon, Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
