According to a May 2021 survey in the Philippines, most of the Filipinos surveyed were confident of the government's evaluation of the coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines that will be used in the country. Only five percent of the respondents stated that they were not at all confident of the government's review of the vaccines.

The question was phrased by source as (translated from Tagalog): "How much or little is your confidence that the government vaccine experts are thoroughly evaluating the vaccines to be used in the Philippines against COVID-19? Do you have… (SHOWCARD: Very much confidence; somewhat much confidence; Undecided if much or little confidence; Somewhat little confidence; Very little confidence)?"
The survey was conducted nationwide with 300 respondents each in Balance Luzon, Metro Manila, the Visayas, and Mindanao.
