Footwear industry turnover in France 2020, by region
In 2020, most of the revenue generated by the French footwear market was achieved in the regions of New Aquitaine (29 percent), Pays de la Loire (24 percent), and Grand Est (22 percent). The Occitanie and Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes regions together accounted for 17 percent of the sector's turnover, while eight percent was achieved in other regions. In 2021, the French footwear market is expected to achieve a turnover exceeding nine billion euros.
