According to a home improvement survey conducted in the United Kingdom, the interest of homeowners in DIY and gardening increased notably during the first lockdown in 2020. To attract potential home buyers, homeowners would improve their gardens to bring more added value to their property. A swimming pool would increase the home value by 7,707 British pounds, while a home office garden room would add a value of 5,325 British pounds.
