Nuclear power is the most used source for electricity production in Ukraine. In 2023, approximately 62 percent of the country's electricity generation was derived from this source. Coal made up the second-largest share, at 15 percent. Meanwhile, renewable sources accounted for less than 15 percent of the power output.
