Colombia: number of suicide attempts 2019-2021
As of May 1, 2021, more than 8,600 suicide attempts had been registered in Colombia. Meanwhile, in the first 16 weeks of 2020, almost 8.5 thousand occurences were reported in the country, down from over nine thousand attempts registered in the same period of the previous year. In 2019, more than 2.6 thousand suicides were reported in Colombia.
