An international survey run across six countries (the United States, Mexico, Brazil, Colombia, Argentina and Germany) in 2020 found that consumers placed the highest monetary worth on their bank and fingerprint data when it came to sharing these features with organizations. Bank account balance, rated number one in terms of value, was worth 8.44 U.S. dollars a month to consumers. Meanwhile, consumers cared significantly less when it came to sharing their location information.
