In fiscal year 2020, the production value of switchgear and controlling equipment in Japan amounted to approximately 1.35 trillion Japanese yen, accumulating the highest production value among electrical machinery. The category was closely followed by household electrical machinery, including ventilation fans, washing machines, rice cookers, dishwashers, freezers, amongst many others.
