Due in large part to the COVID-19 pandemic that forced thousands to study and/or work from home, searches on Google for computers and accessories rose by about 157 percent in Peru in October 2020, compared to the same period in 2019. Many Peruvians also took advantage of the confinement to redecorate their homes, making household furniture the second fastest growing product category in terms of searches.
