The number of Quota 2 applications to higher education institutions in Denmark fell in 2022 after having peaked in 2021, reaching more than 60,000 that year. In 2022, the number of applications was below 50,000. Quota 2 admissions are allocated according to criteria published by the education institution. On the other hand, Quota 1 admissions are allocated according to the grade point average of an upper secondary education.
