In December 2020, there was a two percent increase in smartphone users intending to upgrade to a 5G smartphone, compared to the same survey in March 2019. Thailand and India had the highest percentage change with 13 percent each. In contrast, the upgrade intentions in India have dropped the most with 15 percent less, compared to March 2019.
