Preferred ways of payment before and after COVID-19 in China 2020

According to a survey in China in August 2020, around 54 percent of people preferred to pay online after the coronavirus outbreak. The share of people who preferred online payment grew by seven percent after the COVID-19 pandemic, while the preference for in-person payment decreased.
