As of May 2021, IBM had around 65 official partners in their partner ecosystem to support IBM Cloud Satellite. Amazon Web Services Outposts takes the second place with 63 partners, followed by Google Cloud Anthos and Microsoft Azure.
Next to offering hybrid cloud solutions, cloud vendors also have partner initiatives to help customers manage their clouds more efficiently. That is, each vendor has specific qualification requirements that providers must meet in order to become a partner in the cloud vendor's portfolio. While these requirements vary between vendors, they generally accept partners into their program whose solutions qualify to meet requirements for categories including network, machine learning, data and analytics, security, as well platform and storage.
