
Prevalence of ARBs medication use among people with hypertension in Italy 2006-2021
The prevalence of use of angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs) among individuals suffering from hypertension increased overall in Italy between 2006 and 2021. In fact, in 2006 the share of individuals taking ARBs drugs was equal to around 27.2 percent, while by 2020 this figure reached almost 31.4 percent. This statistic shows the share of individuals suffering from hypertension and taking angiotensin II receptor blockers (ARBs) in Italy from 2006 to 2021.
