According to a 2021 survey in China, 58 percent of respondents between the ages of 18 and 34 stated that taking every opportunity to maximize their income is the most important factor of a job. 51 percent of respondents aged 55 or older reported the same, indicating that maximizing income is more of a priority for younger workers.
