According to a 2021 survey in China, 75 percent of survey respondents living in major metropolitan areas reported that they had a positive feeling about the future of work. 54 percent of those living in rural areas reported having such positive feelings. These results indicate that urban dwellers are more optimistic about China's future work environment than those in more rural areas.
