When adults in the United States were asked if they felt confident that the government could defend itself against cyber-attacks, most younger respondents (below 44 years of age) said that they did. Older respondents on the other hand were less confident. In fact, an overwhelming 82.5 percent of respondents aged 75 years and above stated that they were not confident in the government's ability to defend itself against cyber attacks.
