Leading exported goods from Central America by value 2023
Bananas, coffee, and palm oil are some of the most traditional products exported from Central American countries. However, in 2023, the most exported product category was medical equipment, including instruments and devices for medicine, surgery, dentistry, and veterinary. The Central American region exported a total of 5.69 billion U.S. dollars' worth of these products. Coffee was the product that ranked second with an export value of 3.48 billion U.S. dollars. As a whole, Central America's main export destination is the United States.
