An online survey from February 2023 conducted in the U.S. showed the level of credential sharing of DTC (direct-to-consumer) video streaming services with others outside the household. The share of respondents who prefer to fully pay for DTC streaming services and do not share their credentials amounted to 68 percent. 13 percent of users shared with others outside the household. A small amount of respondents do not pay for streaming services because they come with another service.
