In the financial year 2023, the Singapore government planned to spend 30 percent of their information communications technology (ICT) spending on the development of application systems, which includes upgrading existing applications and building new ones. The planned ICT spending for FY 2022 stood at 3.3 billion Singapore dollars. The Singapore government is investing in AI and cloud as part of its goal to be a leading global smart city.
