Between March 2020 and February 2021, the interest of Italian online consumers for sport and outdoor products increased significantly. Compared to the same period of the previous year, the purchase intentions for weights and treadmills surged, increasing by over 2,000 and 1,500 percent. Equipment for indoor cycling followed in the ranking with a reported increase in purchase intentions of over 1,400 percent.
