According to a survey conducted from 17th to 26th May 2020 on the impact of coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic on agricultural households in Thailand, around 35.8 percent of the respondents stated that they spent less on food that they purchased from downtown stores. The same survey also revealed that daily spending on food amid the COVID-19 pandemic among agricultural households increased when compared to the time before the pandemic.
