Opinion on boycotting the Beijing Winter Olympics in the U.S. 2021
The Summer and Winter Olympics are some of the biggest sporting events on the calendar. Occurring every four years, the Olympics see the world's best athletes in a variety of disciplines compete for a coveted Olympic medal. The Winter Games in 2022 are scheduled to take place in Beijing, China. During a December 2021 survey in the United States, 24 percent of respondents were in favor of a total boycott of the event.
