Hotel establishments in French coastal regions 2022
As of March 2022, the French territory totaled over 9,000 hotel establishments in its coastal regions. Nevertheless, the hospitality sector appeared as much more relevant in some of these regions. With its 2,040 hotels, the coastal region Provence-Alpes-Côtes d'Azur was the region totaling the highest number of hotel establishments in Metropolitan France in 2022. When it comes to the French overseas regions, the hotel activity was mainly concentrated in Reunion.
