Opinion on large events being unsafe during coronavirus in the U.S. 2021
Large sporting events such as the Olympics were severely impacted by the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic as the safety of holding such large events was called into question. In a March 2021 survey in the United States, a majority of adult respondents, 37 percent, stated they strongly agreed that holding large events during the pandemic was unsafe, while 11 percent of respondents strongly disagreed.
