Mexico: number of new Codi accounts 2020-2021

In April 2021, the Mexican digital payment platform Codi registered more than 432 thousand new accounts, down from nearly 443 thousand accounts reported a month earlier. The monthly number of new accounts has been decreasing since January 2021. Meanwhile, the share of cash used in payment transactions in Mexico has dropped around 11 percentage points in the last decade.
