Economic impact of violence in Ghana 2010-2022
As of 2022, the economic impact of violence in Ghana, adjusted for purchasing parity (PPP), was estimated at roughly 10.1 billion U.S. dollars. In the previous year, the value reached approximately 10.5 billion U.S. dollars, the highest impact experienced by the country since 2010. The economic impact of violence includes the direct and indirect costs of violence as well as an economic multiplier applied to the direct costs.
