According to a recent study, the labor force distribution in Italy is going to change considerably in terms of qualification level between 2014 and 2030. Low qualification work, in fact, is expected to decrease in favor of high qualification. As a matter of fact, the share of the latter was projected to increase from 20 percent in 2014 to 34 percent in 2030. Comparing these findings to the average of the 27 countries of the European Union, it was possible to note a similar trend.
