Passenger traffic of Aeroflot airline 2015-2023
Russian airline Aeroflot carried approximately 25 million passengers on domestic and international flights in 2023, more than in the previous year. Russian aircraft were prohibited from the airspace of several countries in response to the war in Ukraine that began in February 2022.
Aeroflot is one of the airlines that belong to the Aeroflot Group. In 2020, Aeroflot's passenger traffic decreased significantly due to the COVID-19 pandemic. In 2019, the number of passengers travelling with Aeroflot peaked for the observed period at 37.2 million.
