Ahmedabad in the western Indian state of Gujarat had a share of over 31 percent of breast cancer cases registered among female cancer patients between the years 2012 and 2015. The second leading type of cancer prevalent among women in that region was cervix uteri cancer with a relative proportion of over nine percent.
