Between November 2019 and February 2020, more than 70 percent of domestic travelers surveyed in Mexico reported to use online travel agencies to research or plan for their trips. Six out of ten international survey participants in the North American country stated to do the same. One of the world's most popular platforms of this kind is Tripadvisor. In 2020, approximately 884 million reviews and opinions had already been posted on this digital travel tool.
