Hotels opening rate on the French coasts 2020
The pandemic caused by the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) impacted the hospitality sector significantly. In France, numerous hotels had to close their doors for several months in 2020. In April 2020, less than 20 percent of hotels on the French coastlines were still opened. After the first lockdown in France, this opining rate increased again to reach more than 80 percent in June 2020.
