Moreover, four other universities in South Africa followed as second to fifth leading universities in the region, namely University of Witwatersrand, Stellenbosch University, University of KwaZulu Natal, and University of Johannesburg. These institutions registered scores between 54.7 and 62.8. In the global ranking, the highest-performing school earns an overall score of 100.
