According to a study conducted between February and March 2021, 65 percent of the African businesses that took part in the survey estimated that the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has accelerated their digital transition. Only seven percent of companies stated that the pandemic did not boost digital transformation. For most enterprises, digital transition meant acquiring adequate technologies and tools.
