A March 2021 survey revealed that around 18 percent of respondents in Hong Kong expected to go to a sporting or mass event in the following six months. This percentage was reportedly lower than the global average of approximately 32 percent of respondents who would likely go to such events. On the other hand, for more than half of consumers in Hong Kong, there was a slim chance that they would participate in a mass event in the next half year.
