Opinion on allocation of additional funds to pay health workers basic wage India 2021
A survey conducted in India showed that a majority of the public was in favor of frontline health workers being provided minimum wage and insurance as of the year 2021. About 95 percent of the responses agreed that the Indian government ought to set aside additional funds from its union budget for the fiscal year 2021 to pay Anganwadi and ASHA workers who were crucial to the Indian public health system.
